Music Week Awards

This is a technically advanced and prestigious event that draws many of the biggest players in the music industry.

Held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Outdoor Stages UK were instructed to provide complete technical production for an event that required excellent sound, stunning lighting effects and utilised the latest video equipment.

The 1800-person ballroom was filled with the latest D&B line array system, Robe moving lights and a double pack of Barco R10 projectors controlled by Pandoras Box.

However, it was this stunning set that made the real impact.

The brief was to create a giant periodic table as this was a design concept that ran through the marketing and branding of the event.

 

 

The set was constructed from over 100 custom-made acrylic boxes.

Each box measured 600mm x 600mm and stacked to a maximum height of 5.4 metres in the air.

Each box had vinyl graphics relating to the individual sponsors and was rear-lit using LED par cans.

The finished effect of the set was truly stunning and unique. The Outdoor Stages UK team very much look forward to the opportunity of creating more exciting set concepts in the future.
